The Questers

My Story

Parkinson’s sucks. Crass words but they best describe the impact that this degenerative disease has on the lives, hopes and dreams of people from all walks of life.
This story is a tale (or is it a tail?) of my quest; about how one restless individual with too much time on his hands, set out to find his purpose and reclaim his passion for life that was now elusive.

WE BELIEVE IN THE HEALING POWER OF STORY.

The story of our life is not a secret to hold but is a story to be told. Our life is not a single event, lived in a bubble. We are connected to others by what we have seen, what we have experienced and what we believe. We did not live our lives alone, we will not experience joy or be relieved of our suffering, by living our lives alone.

WE HAVE SEEN IT.

It is not for the faint of heart. It will take courage to become transparent, authentic and inclusive. Some will dismiss you, others will distance themselves from you, but the few that welcome you into their life, will bring with them a message of acceptance and community.

WE ARE LIVING IT.

What is the “it” to which I am referring? Whether we are experiencing good health or an infirmary, are blessed with windfall or faced with a shortcoming, or a triumph or tragedy, you can strive for and attain a life that is too big to be lived alone.

WE WANT YOU TO EXPERIENCE IT.

If you are looking for images kittens playing with a ball of yarn, meme’s that offer nothing more than a grin for a nano-second, you may have taken a wrong turn. I want to show you how you can add intentionality to your life and strive for what you thought to be unattainable; a life lived with a purpose and a purpose that will ignite your passion.
