Every Dog Has It’s Day

Did you know that this phrase has nothing to do with the four-legged variety? The idiom, Every Dog Has It’s Day, makes reference to a dog but has nothing to do with a dog! Has the world gone mad? Ivy is going to be ticked. All this time, she thought it meant that if she is obedient and faithful, she will have unrestricted access to the 72 bottomless containers of ice-cream now locked in the freezer.

It was not be considered a great film by anyone’s standards, ranked a distant 1,430th behind those “B” list movies like Big or Bob and Ted’s Excellent Adventure. It’s as if there is a cosmic overlord that dispenses his minions to do his bidding in a manner that demoralizes the wounded, confuses the grieving and ensnares the greatest number of casualties. Your mission, should you chose to accept it, is to insure that your minion meets the same fate as those that have already been defeated.
